Finals = Two 2:30 minute runs (Best run counts)
Expert:
Qualifying = Single 2:15 minute run
Finals = Two 2:00 minute runs (Best run counts)

Veteran:
Two 1:30 minute runs (Best run counts)
**Classes will be divided into heats on site if one class becomes too large**
Judging Criteria:
Difficulty: Score up to 100 pts
Originality: Score up to 85 pts
Consistency: Score up to 75 pts
Maximum Total Score: 260 Pts
Each judge will score each rider on all three categories. Scores are calculated to give a final average that is intentionally weighted to encourage progressive riding while valuing pulled tricks and tricks in links.
Best Trick Jam: Best Trick will be “jam style” giving each rider several turns within an allotted time. There will be live voting for immediate ranking of the top trick throughout the jam. This jam will possibly be broken into heats depending on the number of riders.

Floor Surface & Venue: The Foundry is a popular all-ages music venue that has been host to the JoMoPro flatland contest for the past three years. The venue has a snack and drink bar as well as a few restaurant-style tables and booths. There is a stage where the judges sit that displays the run clock along with the brackets for the pro finals.
The floor is approximately 50ft x 50ft and is smooth polished concrete. The JoMoPro staff of volunteers uses an industrial floor cleaner several times throughout the weekend to make sure the floor is as clean and dust-free as possible. The staff also puts a sticky coating on the floor to ensure it is the most ideal riding surface the venue can offer. The same measures were implemented during the 2011 event, and worked great.
The riding area is separated from the spectators by barricades and sponsor banners on three sides, and the stage on the final side.
There is a nice, flat practice area just outside of The Foundry that is gritty concrete. While the practice area is not identical to the contest floor, there will be ample practice time on the contest floor for each class. There are multiple parking lots within close riding distance that riders can practice in at their discretion.
